Trail common questions
Does Trail replace my Safer Food, Better Business diary?
Yes. Trail comes with the daily tasks from your SFBB diary. Once you start completing them in Trail, you can stop filling in the paper diary. Keep the safe methods section of your pack, because that's your food safety plan.
Where do I download Trail?
You don't need to. Trail runs in any modern browser, on a phone, tablet or computer, and you can pin it to your home screen. It also works offline once the day's tasks have loaded, though photos and attachments need a connection and each device needs to sync at least once a day.
Can I add my own tasks?
Yes. Your account comes with Safer Food, Better Business tasks already set up, and you can add your own or use the template library.
How do I pay for Trail?
At the end of your 14-day free trial, you'll be asked for card or direct debit details to continue.
Can I cancel if Trail isn't right for me?
Yes. Trail has a 12-month minimum term. To cancel, give us 90 days' notice before the end of your term. Otherwise it renews automatically.
Do I pay for every member of staff?
No. You pay per site, and every plan includes unlimited users.
